This course will enable the teachers to plant and create an organic school garden with a variety of habitats. There will be a strong emphasis on practical activities er. Visiting an established school garden and community garden, sowing seeds, potting on and plant care, plant families, organic systems, soil preparation and improving soil, making a raised bed, composting and different composting systems, making organic liquid feeds, weed identification, funding and resources.
